Skiing, alpine skiing, freesking…the beloved sport has many forms, all of them happening on two skis used to come down a hill or a mountain. The size of the hill or the skier isn’t what matters – enjoying the activity is. Finns are active on the slopes of nearby domestic resorts as well as those in Lapland or in the Alps. Skiing is a classy way to spend one’s free time, the meaning of which has been emphasized by the busy modern lifestyle.
